Position Overview
As a Civil/Environmental Engineer, you will support the planning, design, and implementation of environmental engineering projects from initial assessment through project completion. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to projects that address environmental challenges while supporting regulatory compliance and responsible redevelopment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support civil and environmental engineering projects, including soil and groundwater remediation, stormwater management systems, and site development.
- Conduct environmental site assessments and evaluations to support project planning and design.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, project documentation, and permit applications.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
- Assist with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
- Perform site visits and field observations as required.
- Utilize engineering software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- EIT certification is preferred; PE licensure is a plus.
- One to five years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
